Program Overview

Learn core skills including shot stopping, diving, rebounds, recovery, footwork, ball handling and distribution. Each session will focus on a specific aspect of the role in order to build a core foundation of goalkeeping skills. Goalkeepers will join our field players for scrimmages to test what they have learned. Each player receives a written and oral assessment from our goalkeeping staff at the end of the program.

Technical Aspects

  • Coordination, balance, and mobility
  • Review of GK basic techniques (set position, handling, high balls, diving, distribution), in order to improve weaknesses and avoid future bad habits
  • An understanding of the GK position in the net in relation to the ball

Technical Aspects

  • Awareness, good feeling of the box area
  • Developing the basic knowledge of how to react in different situations, resulting in a safer and more confident approach, thus enjoying the position to the fullest
  • Helping to discover new talents and to succeed in the goalkeeper position and the soccer world

Goalkeeper Indoor Training

  • Specialized Supplemental Goalkeeper Training for competitive players aged 12 to 18 years old
  • This is a supplemental training program geared toward the competitive player
  • Small player-to-coach ratio
  • High level Goalkeeper Coach

Please note that if you have not already trained with us as a GK, you will need to be assessed for this program. There is no cost for the trial session. Please contact the office today to arrange a date/time.

Goalkeeper Summer Camp

Summer GK Training
  • Specialized Development Program for players from ages 8-18
  • This training program incorporates all technical aspects needed for goalkeeper development
  • Please note that we need a minimum of three goalkeepers to run the program for a given week

Goalkeeper Summer Skillz 2016

Designed for Top Dogs Goalkeepers ages 8 – 21, based on the Bryst Player Development Model.  Advanced, high-level training sessions. A great program to supplement team training or bring your game to the next level. Please note that there are limited spots available!
